What are the pros of each one.

If i want a E1 connection to a PBX can i use each?? The HDV-1E1 can manage up to 60 voice channels to the PBX or for transcoding and i can scale the DSP´s.

On the other hand, i read in the description of the DE30+, i have the feature of display the caller id with name+number for in- and outbound calls. But the connection to the network it only 10BaseT.

Can i use both together in the same location??

Which development is the newer one??

Are my advisements right??

I have a MCS7835 and a 3640.

Thanks for your opinions and hints!

Martin

Well, since you already have the 3640 router, it may be advisable to go with the HDV E1 interfaces. One reason is that if you use the NM-HDV-2E1-60 you can handle 2 E1 circuits in one slot.

Feature-wise, the DE-30+ is similar. They will both handle ISDN signaling -- including caller ID number and name if present -- approximately the same.
