I want to make different announcements (i.e. busy announcement & Non office hour's announcement.) for a operator console (model=7960) that involves a hunting group of a pliot point.
I found the Call Viewer always shows "forward(unconditional)" for all forwarded calls from the operator console. So, Unity can't prompt user the proper greetings for different events but only prompt standard greeting for all events.
Do I need to change some settings for Unity to achieve what I want or by other means?
For the busy -- I assume that this will be if the operator is too busy to answer the calls during business hours.
If you are getting (in call viewer) something else that you can key off of (i.e. a dialed number/forwarding number) then you can play a busy greeting through a new "attendant busy Call handler".
Alternatively, Since it is a hunt group, and it probably going through some logic that forces the call to Unity you are getting the unconditional forward. If you create a route point, and forward from the attendant console hunt group, to that route point, then have that route point go to unity, then you can key off of it, and play a busy greeting through a new "attendant busy Call handler".
That same route point and Call Handler can be used after hours, by setting the schedule on the call handler.
