How do we hook the Digital Phones to call manager ? except using EPABX ...
I guess the VG248 or 224 only support analog phones & fax

which digital phones ?
If these are digital proprietary phones, cannot be connected.
If are ISDN BRI, can be connected to ports on the router.

was there any specific brands of analog phones that can be connected to VG248/224 ?
I guess not !!
Digital Phone of any brand ... avaya ..nortel..thosiba ..panasonic w/0.
80% of the phones connect to epabx these days are Digital

Hi,
the digital phones you mentione are proprietary are not standard, while analog phones are standard.
That is, each model of the mentioned maker cannot be connected to another maker, so not even to cisco.

Correct, there is no standard for digital phones.
Now, certain phones may be in fact ISDN BRI phones w/ additional features, as I mentioned before, these would work connected to voice BRI ports on a router.
