DiRT 1.0.100 backup error at Unity 4.0(2)

Hi,

I have an error on the registry backup. Any idea why ?

.

starting disaster reocovery backup at: 1/5/2004 1:20:08 PM

Backing up registry to: \\192.168.9.253\AVVID\Unity\UnityReg.REG

(error) in cmbBackup routine:File not found number= 0

Backing up the Cisco TSP branch to:\\192.168.9.253\AVVID\Unity\CiscoTSP.reg

(error) in cmbBackup routine:File not found number= 0

Backing up active switch file 1 :C:\CommServer\IntLib\cisco0002.ini

Backing up all AVD files

Backing up StreamFiles folder

Copying out system greetings for default objects

Backing up UnityDB SQL table to: C:\SQL Backup\

Backing up ReportDB SQL table to: C:\SQL Backup\

Moving SQL backup files from local directory to target directory.

UnityBackup.SQL file moved to target directory, local copy removed.

Moving Report backup files from local directory to target directory.

ReportDBBackup.sql file moved to target directory, local copy removed.

Hi,

I found why it doesn't work. some reason, I cannot find a "regedit.exe" under c:\winnt\. works fine after copy it.

Interesting - haven't seen a system that has RegEdit.exe missing. Yeah, I call it with command line options to get particular branches of the registry that need to be preserved - it's used in both the backup and the restore, of course.
