Disconnecting a specific active call on voice gateway with PRI.

Hi All,

I'm looking for an option to disconnect a specific call that is active on a PRI voice port.

Somehow I have some active calls with duration of few days/week, and I’m looking to resolve it but I’m looking for a command to disconnect the call without disconnecting all other calls.

Thank you all, Kito.

Re: Disconnecting a specific active call on voice gateway with P

Hi,

You can try the following:

issue a "sh call active voice brief" find the Tele call leg you want to disconnect.

Find out which ds0 within the ISDN PRI T1 the call is using.

Then, issue "clear interface serialX/Y:z" where x/y is the slot and controller number and z is the ds0 number.

This will clear the ds0 within the ISDN PRI and should drop the call.

Thanks,

Chinh

Hi Kito,

Are you sure you are using the NM-HDV for PRI signaling?

In our lab 2600 router, I have the following:

Global ISDN Switchtype = primary-ni

ISDN Serial1/1:15 interface

Re: Disconnecting a specific active call on voice gateway with P

Hi Kito

You need to first know what b-channel the call is on (show isdn serv will show you the states of each b-channel) then in serial-interface config (interface for d-channel i.e. 1/0:23) use isdn service command to take that b-channel out of service then back in service.

Re: Disconnecting a specific active call on voice gateway with P

Thanks you all for your replies , it realy helped me, but one more thing,

how can I know which b-channel is the specific call running now?

when issueing the command "sh call active voice brief" i got the tele number which is the D-channel, also when issuing the command "sh isdn serv" I can not relate a specific call to specific b-channel ...

Again thank you all.

Kito
