Display Busy for Call

Is there a way to configure 7940&60 phones to display if the called party is busy? Example, A is calling B. B is on the phone. A dials B's extension and on A's display shows B is on a call.

Another option specify users you wish to monitor and have status' displayed on your screen at all times.

Attendant Console has the capability of showing line state on your screen.

That's not something that I would want on everybody's computer though. I was hoping for something on the phone itself.

A shared line appearance would work in a limited sense. If you had a 7960, the user could see the line state for several other users by configuring the DNs of users they want to see line state for as shared lines on their phone.
