I have a client running CM 3.1. I have changed the Display (internal caller id) on the line for a new users name. When this phone dials another extension the call id works fine. However when another line dials this dn it shows the old user's name. Where might the old user's name be coming from? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is he dialing from missed call or placed call list ?

No they are not dialing from a list or previous call. They are entering the digits manually and it happens on more than one phone trying to call this number. Thanks for your reply.

I am sure you have reset the phone after you updated the info.

Yes we did reset the phone, but I don't blame you for asking. After the reset is when the caller id going out started working.

Hi Robert,
Is this perhaps a shared line, where the DN has another appearance on another phone? I have seen this before when the Display has not been changed on all Line Appearances.
