Does Unity support busy and Internal greetings with CallManager TAPI
In older versions of Unity, busy greetings didn't work. I don't think CallManger sent a fowarding reason to Unity.
I was told by a TAC engineer recently that CallManager now sends forwarding reason.
Will Unity understand that reason and play the busy greeting if enabled? If so, what Unity versions support this feature? And does internal greetings work also? I don't think I have ever enabled and tested it.
Re: Does Unity support busy and Internal greetings with CallMana
The 3.1 version of CallManager was the first to send reason codes. Any version of Unity with TSP 188.8.131.52 or later will work with the reason codes. I recommend using TSP 7.0(3).
Keep in mind internal calls are determined based on the calling party DN. So if a caller with DN 3000 is a subsriber in Unity they will be flagged as internal. If they are not a subscriber in Unity they will not be flagged as internal even though they might technically be.
