DTMF Digits Not recognized on Forwarded Call

I have CME 4.0 install running c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.124-4.XC2.bin on a 2811. When users leave the office they forward calls to a Nortel 'Call Director' at their corporate office. The calls forward to the Call Director fine, but the director gives the users options 1 press. 1. for voice mail 2. for assistant etc. However the DTMF tones are not recognized. Any ideas why they wouldn't be recognized?

Here are what I believe are the relevant parts of the config:

dial-peer voice 40 pots

destination-pattern 91[2-9]..[2-9]......

Re: DTMF Digits Not recognized on Forwarded Call

Make sure your calls are matching the dial-peer 9999 with a 'debug voice ccapi inout'. That 'incoming called-number .' could have strange effects. I usually use a 'incoming called-number .T' so it will definately match on the whole number.

Also, test a call-forward to a regular phone. Hit the keypad and see if you can hear the DTMF tones in the other receiver. That way you can tell if you're not sending them or if the remote system isn't recognizing them.

Also, is CUE or another voicemail system forwarding the call or is it CME directly?
