DTMF Relay

I've just set up CCM3.0 and a 3600 gateway to test VOIP. The configurations is basic:

- 3600 gateway with a 2 port FXO vic connected to two pots lines.

- 3524 XL switch

- several IP phones connected to the switch.

We have the basic functionality working, but I am having an issue with passing DTMF tones to our IVR (voicemail) system. Everything I read states that I have to turn up an DTMF Relay, but I can't find anything that shows me how. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

On the voip dial-peer(s) that point to the CallManager, configure dtmf-relay h245-signal h245-alphanumeric and then try the call again. I assume it's failing when you call from the POTS side into the VoIP based IVR.

If you are calling out from the IP phone through POTS to the IVR system, it should work out of the box, even without configuring the above.
