E&M card does not sync with Ericson PABX MD -110

We are implementing VOIP for a client's private network. The setup is like this: a 3640 with E&M cards is connected to an Ericson PABX MD -110. We already have the pinouts correct and we used type 1, four wire operation and imeadiate as the signaling paramaters but the pbx senses that the cards are not in sync. Should we change the parameters? We also tried to use the troubleshooting guide available in CCO but to no avail.

Note: the PBX and the router are not on the same Building so we used some of the 25-pair of cable that runs about 50 to 60 meters that terminates to panels. From these panels we utilized four pairs to connect to the Router. We also provided common grounding on the PBX and the router.

Any help would be appreciated.
