E1 Channels Problems

We have installed a E1 card connected to a PBX

If I form " Codec complexity high " the calls happen to the PBX but I only see 19 channels.

If I do not form the " Codec complexity high " the calls they do not happen to the PBX but I can see the 31 channels.

There is some limitation of software that does not allow to the coexistence of the " Codec complexity high " and the 31 channels?

On the other hand, if the extension is bussy, the channel to me is taken.

Thank you very much,

Rodrigo Barroso

Re: E1 Channels Problems

Below I am attaching a link on High Complexity. Mainly what it shows is that a High complexity Codec uses more resources, resulting in fewer DSP's. The DSP's are assigned when you configure the E1 channels. If you have Low complexity you will get a channel per DSP. High Complexity will get you 1 channel for 2 DSP's.
