E1 voice B5 and B6 signaling. Need advice on how to simulate?
Our telco provider is requiring us to conduct a couple of signaling tests with them.
1.Subscriber line busy (B3)
2.Subscriber unallocated number (B5) not yet in service
3.Subscriber line free ,charge (B6)
4.Subcriber line out of order (B8) not accessible at this moment
The B3 and B6 tests were ok. The telco received the appropriate signal from us. Its the B5 and B8 signaling that I am having a problem with. I tried testing the B5 signaling myself where I called a no. that isn't on our CCM's routing table and what I got was a fast busy signal. Does that sound right to you guys because the telco in my country was expecting a different signal. As for the B8 signaling test, I have no idea how to simulate that at all, Im hoping you guys could help me out.
Our setup is:
- CCM 4.2
- 2800 router as a voice gateway connected to the E1 line.
