I'm getting echo back to the voip caller of his own voice only when calls are to the pstn through my vg200/pri. I used to have a email from a tac engineer on what I have to change but I have since lost it. Currently my config is:
voice-port 1/0:23
input gain -3
output attenuation 6
playout-delay maximum 140
Any advice would be great!
Thanks!

What version of code are you running on the vg200? With this config does the voice sound softer or just as loud?
Thank you,

Seems just as loud...
The ios on the vg200 was a special release to fix some other problems I was having with jitter and the bug with any latency above 150ms the packet gets dropped...

Do you have the following command on the dial-peer voip:
incoming called-number .
We had echo on our config. before and we have solved our problems using that command.

that command caused echo?!

You are right ... it was not echo problem ... We had codec mismatch one way g711ulaw and the other way g729r8. We had voice quality problem.
