Echo on 7960 Phones after 4.0 CME upgrade

After upgrading our 2811 to CME ver 4.0 we now have bad echos on our 7960 IP phones. Any help would be much appreciated

having same issue on 2801 with 40's and 60's.

seems to be most common on cell phones tho.

when turning handset volume down it helps but till can't get rid of echo.

is this on internal calls? or just external calls through PSTN, I hope the later is the case then you need to ensure the following commands are active on your PSTN interface :

input gain - 3

output attenuation 3

echo-cancel coverage 32

adjust the input gain and output attenuation as required
