Strange issue we are experiencing in two environments. Recently replaced legacy CCM cluster with newly installed 4.1 cluster running all latest service releases. Three sites utilizing vg248 gateways for analog phones, we are experiencing a slight echo like sound when calling these phones(I don't think the analog phones are hearing the echo) We were using these same gateways prior to the cluster upgrade with a 4.0 cluster and did not experience this. This is the second cluster we have upgraded and had this same condition with the VG248 analog phones. Fax works great, and we have attempted downgrade of the VG248 code and have not had any success.
this happens sometimes after an IOS or s/w upgrade on CCM/VGW. Looks like now its an issue on the VG248 side since the echi is heard on the IPT side. Please try and adjust the input gain and output attenuation-
