Electrical shock on the 7960 Phone.

Hi,

Does any one had the problem of Electric shock from and IP Phone.

In one of the incidents one of the user got shock on his ear and other user got a shock on the mouth peace.

These phones have in-line power.One reason I think the problem could be with the grounding which is causing this problems.

Please let me know, your suggestions.

It is very strange and hard to believe for me. The IP phone doesnot have any metal contact on the handset. So I really dont understand how this could happen.

But I would suggest you to check the grounding of the Switch that this phone is connected to.

I know. But the problem could be becuse of the static and the earpeace does has some metal inside.

one of my users also got shocked in the ear and then the phone reset

she said it was pretty bad shock if anyone knows why i would appeciate some feed back

my phones receive power from a online swich

My user also had the same situation. The phone gets the power from Switch.

What kind of temperature does this users are locked in. Is it a very cold area.
