EM and Phone firmware

I've 3 CCM in my network, (1 Pub, 2 sub). Will be performing the upgrade to the latest version.

My concern is during the upgrade :

1) Extension Mobility, will it be affected ?? (will the phone be reset (no login/logout)

2) Device Firmware, will the devices download the latest firmware automatically or a reset is needed??
