Is it possible to generate a different tone when users attempt call an extension which happens to be logged out. Currently they get busy tone, so think the user is engaged and try again. When calling a logged out extension generate the "your call cannot be completed..." message (or similar) instead?
Not sure how to change the annunciator message just for em users. But we can configure a 'forward on busy' for every user profile. When user is not logged on, calls go to the forward on busy destination (which can be the main board number).
Actually, it is a different tone, not busy, but fast busy ("number not available"). If I were you, I would set call forward no answer on the logged out profiles to the voice mail, where I would configure a recorded announcement for these numbers. Can be easily done with Unity, for instance.
