Enable CLI on Per Call Basis

We have a H.323 gateway running with CCM 3.3(3) Sr2. This is currently configured so that calling Party Presentation is restricted, at the request of the users.

I have been asked if it is possible to enable CLI presentation on a per call basis, by use of an access code (for example *9AreaCode number instead of the current 9AreaCode number). This is a healthcare enviroment and some clients will not answer calls where the CLI is withheld. This facility was available at their last site using a traditional PABX.

Anyone setup something like this before? Any ideas welcomed.

TIA

Re: Enable CLI on Per Call Basis

Under CallManager 3.3(2) and above, you may configure calling party presentation restrictions on individual route patterns.

You would want to configure your gateway for Default if you've configured it for Restricted, and then configure each of your outgoing route patterns to your preference. In this case you would configure Restricted for every route pattern except for *9.@, which you would set to Allowed.
