enabling qos on catalyst

Hello,

I'd like to know if there is a traffic outtage (even very short) when we enable the Qos on the 6K and 4K catalyst switches?

Normally no, but I have seen it once when it took down one of 2 redundant 6500s for several minutes, I would suggest doing it in off hours.
