I have installed a PG (ICM 4.6) for Enterprise Agent (using IPCC tele protocol) and find within event viewer that the PG keeps going down (exit code 0x1). The error message within the PG1a OPC screen reads 'Error acknowledgment received from peripheral 5000 Message Type = 12 Peripheral State = 2'.
Hope you have ICM Router, Logger, Distributer and CCM publisher in place.
Before you start install any Enterprise agent PG, we need to do two important things.
1. You should have added one PG with the type EAgent by using PG explorer thro configuration manager. Note down the logical controller id and peripheral id. Because we need to use those value in the PG installation.
2. You should have installed jtapi client. This is available as a plug ins in the CCM
Even then if still you have the same problem. Please let us know the steps which you have followed to install the PG(EAgent). Brief description is enough.
