Re: Erlang to number of VoIP calls

Thank you. Yes , i have used this site before.Just that it is difficult to quantify the number of VoIP calls, given the per site requirement in Erlang

Any other recommendations ?

Re: Erlang to number of VoIP calls

I am afraid i am not following you. You have a targeted Erlang of .1 (right?)

How did you arrive at that?

What is your acceptable blocking? 1 per 100?

With those 2 values and codec, you can easily figure out the bandwidth/number of calls.

Re: Erlang to number of VoIP calls

I would not say there is a "typical" number. I think it is an issue if preference. What is an acceptable number of calls to receive busy signals at peak times?
