Event Source:AvCsServices_MC message

Unity3.0 (4)

I recieve the following information message in my application event log every 30 minutes.

The TUSD\Unity_unity2 account is used by AvCsMgr and AvUMRSyncSvr services.

should I have any concernes.....

sounds like you may be hitting CSCeb25988 - this was fixed in a later 3.1 version to kick out a more useful error message.

I think this error is being generated by the report manager that goes out and collects information every 30 minutes that it sticks into the ReportsDB database for the report engine to work off of. Make sure the report services on your box (AvRepDirSvrSvc) is associated with the "local system" account and not the directory account that AvCsMgr was - this was a bug in setup where it was assigning that service to the wrong account...

Thank you for your post...

I was unable to view the bug using CCO's bug tool so I went about this using your suggestion.

I changed the AvRepDirSvrSvc to use the local account rebooted and now I see the following five errors over and over again. I have put back the Unity_severname account and am back to the first errors I saw earlier
