We are looking at installing Unity 3.1 into an existing 5.5 exchange site. I understand that during the initial integration, exchange administrator has to be installed onto the Unity server. Once Unity is integrated with the exchange site, can the exchange administrator software be unistalled? The problem here is that one company manages the Exchange servers and the other manages the Unity servers and neither wants the other to invade on their territory. <br><br>
No you should not uninstall the Exchange admin software. Leaving the admin software on Unity should not in any way stop the company administrating the Exchange servers to do their work from their existing machines. And just a note of caution, Unity and Exchange are going to be joined to each other by their hips. There is really no getting away from having both the companies work together closely on the Unity and Exchange stuff.
