Exchange Backups

I am curious. If a customer has a full unified solution, with one Exchange server and One Unity. Lets say the Exchange box goes completely down. All of the users are home sited on the customer Exchange server. Will thier normal full tape backups of Exchange and NT be enough to restore everything including voice messages? Also, the reverse, if the Unity dies and needs to be reloaded, can the customer depend upon the same Exchange backups to restore the voicemail messages or does the Unity HAVE to have its own backups of the DS/IS.<br><br>

The customer's Exchange store(email, directory and voicemails) would be recovered. The greetings and Unity specific items are stored on the Unity server.
