I am looking to execute an XML service when the handset is put down or the speakerphone is turned off. This is not going to be in an environment where JTAPI will be a viable option. Any ideas out there on how to accomplish this?
You might be able to accomplish this using JTAPI call observer, however, this will not scale well. The introduction of Midlets, and Call Observers on the phone this fall, or spring, will make this type of application very easy to implement.
