Is it possible to leave a message for a Unity subscriber from someone who does/does not have a Unity account without ringing the subscribers extension first? The subscribers account is set up to ring the extension and this is not to be changed. (This capability is available to us with our Meridian Mail system.) I am running CM 3.0(7) and Unity 2.4.6<br><br>
You can over ride the transfer attempt by tacking on a #2 to the end of the extension number. For instance if the Id of the person you want is 1234 you'd dial "1234#2" and the next thing you'd hear is their greeting.
If you're calling into Unity and hearing silence, you should probably open a TAC case. If this is a call manager you're working on, check out the IP forum and search for some posts there... there's been a number of folks trip up with CM configuration or have used two NICs etc... and ended up not getting an audio stream from Unity for one reason or another.
