Extension assigned to two users simultaneously

We have had two scenarios where we added a new user (e.g. Kent @ extension 4093). Later received a call from Doris @ 4131 complaining she couldn't get into her mail. Her extension had somehow changed to 4093 from 4131. Changed her extension back to 4131 and it automatically changed Kent's to 4131. When I changed Kent's back to 4093, it changed Doris' too. I believe there must have been a pointer mix up somewhere, so I deleted Kent and re-added him to fix the problem.<br><br>We have a work-around, but wanted to record the suspected "bug"<br><br>Norm Cook<br>Gibson Petroleum Company Limited

Re: Extension assigned to two users simultaneously

There was a known problem where you could get "cross linked" call handlers behind the subscriber accounts in a few versions of 2.4.5 (I updated the dbWalker application on my site to check for this). It's been fixed in 2.4.6.
(hopefully you're on 2.4.5 and this is the same problem!)
