We have cisco call manager 4.0.2a sr1a and have a strange issue. We have a main site with 2 extension ranges 46xx & 69xx and a remote site extensions 37xx. When a user with extension mobility enable and is from the remote site 37xx moves to head office and logs in they get a terrible interference when making external calls.
When the external call is made the user making the call can hear the external person but the external person can only hear a loud feedback.
But if the user logs into the phone with a spare extension from the head site 46xx & 69xx nothing is heard and the call is made perfectly. This happens on a few remote sites when a user from thae remote site tries to log in anywhere but his local site.
Sounds like there is a QoS issue with the media streams across your WAN. When the user logs in from a differenet site their outbound calls will still use the GW at their "home" site.
You can test this by taking a phone from the head office site and assign the CSS that would normally be assigned to the phones at the remote site. Then try an outbound call to see if the same quality issue happens.
