Extension Mobility - Phone reboots if button-templates are different...

Hello,

I'm configuring user device profiles for Extension mobility on CM 3.3.2.

I can log in and off on a phone, but phone is rebooting immediately after.

I saw on this forum that it was due to the fact that the button templates were different on the profile and on the device.

But "Default-7960" is the only available choice ont the profile page and our phones are 7940.

This is really annoying for the customer, cause this reboot is of course completely unwanted.

Is it solved in a SP or a next release, I think this problem was already there on 3.2 (I thought it would be solved in 3.3...) ?

To my knowledge it would reboot for a couple of other reasons

Problem: The phone is using DNS to resolve the Cisco CallManager name.

Solution: Change the "System > Server" name to an IP address. Reset the phone and try the login/logout procedure again.

It would reboot also if the settings you choose (usually happens with locales) are not downloadable from the tftp. Do you have the default ones ?
