customer has call mgr 3.2(2c) with extension mobility. They can log into and out of a phone fine. The next time they try it, the phone reboots itself. Does anyone have any idea as to why the phone is intermittently rebooting when a login is initiated?
thanks

After performing a login or logout, the phone resets instead of restarting.
Problem: The phone is using DNS to resolve the Cisco CallManager name.
Solution: Change the "System > Server" name to an IP address. Reset the phone and try the login/logout procedure again.

thanks.
I'm almost sure we are using IP addresses, but I'll check into it as soon as I get back on site.

I think it could be the config file it can't download as well, have you made any changes to user locales?

found the problem.
Phone was rebooting because the user profile was not configured for expansion modules while the device was. Once I changed all the user profiles to have exp. modules, the phone no longer rebooted after login or logout.
If templates are different between the device and the user profile, phone will reboot.
