Extension Mobility

Dear All ,

We are facing a Problem from time to time regarding the < Extension Mobility > Service. We are running a Cisco Callmanager Version 3.3( 4) Cluster consists of 4 Callmanager Servers.

Frome time to time ( and it begins to increase lately ) the users that are having Extension Mobility Service running on their IP Phones report that when they try to access the Service , the Screen keeps displaying ( Requesting ) and then the Screen Displays the Error Message ( Host Not Found ).

We tried to restrat the Service named ( Extension Mobility Logout ) and nothing changes . This Problem only get resolved when we restrat the Publisher Server.

Any Ideas about this issue ?

host not found sounds like a DNS issue. Make sure that the URL for extension mobility has the IP Address of the CCM server.
