external call forward?

Hi,

I'm using CISCO IP Phone model 7911, I want to set the Call forward function for all inbound external call to one ext (ie. receiption), but internal call not forward.

is it possible to set?

Hi Edwin,

You can use these two settings;

Forward No Answer External

The settings in this row of fields specify the forwarding treatment for external calls to this directory number if the directory number does not answer. The call forward destination and Calling Search Space field get used to redirect the call to the forward destination.

Forward Busy External

The settings in this row of fields specify the forwarding treatment for external calls to this directory number if the directory number is busy.

if it is only a small office enviroment,usually use a CCME .And in the CCME router ,you can use the command "connection plar opx 123(FrontDeskDN)" to connect PSTN Calls to FrontDesk
