Anyone know how to connect an external ringer to a 7940 with Call Manager? I am putting these phones in a warehouse and need a loud buzzer. Is there a ringer out there that will work with the rs232 port?
We had the same request from a customer of ours. The solution we came up with was to connect the ringer to an ATA186 and share the DN.
