Extesion Mobility with shared line

Hi,

My setup is the following:

I have to set a shared line ( 8000 )between a 7912 and a IPC, this works fine. Both phones receives the calls simultaneously.

Recently, I enabled Extension Mobility for some users and phones.

So, in the 7912 I maintained the line 8000. In the IPC I set the line 8002. I have configured John's profile with lines 8000 and 8010.

After John do the logon in the IPC, he has the lines 8000 and 8010.

When somebody calls to 8000, only 7912 receives the call. Why isn't the shared line working on IPC?

Thanks

Re: Extesion Mobility with shared line

Are they both in the same partition? Is it showing shared line next to the Device Profile DN in CCM?

Rodrigo:

I think what Chris is getting at here is that the CSS of the calling party (or gateway for external calls) is going to ring devices based on how their partitions are ordered in the CSS.

Example:

ext. 8000 in partition IL1

ext. 8000 in partition IL2

Gateways have IL1 listed in their CSS before IL2 (the order matters - top down search).

Inbound call from the gateway will ring ext. 8000 in IL1 and never reach ext. 8000 in IL2.

Hope that helps.

Tom
