FAC from telco

I have a client who has their telco providing FAC service for LD and Intl services. So the call goes out, telco intercepts the call, the caller hears a beep and they enter the code. Now the client is moving from pbx to cisco ip telephony and he wants the FAC service to work the way it is. How does callforward All work in this situation. If somebody forwards the call to an external extension, how can he enter his/her fac so that the call can go through with out manually entering the fac ?

Thoughts? Remember that bringing FAC inhouse is not an option (atleast not preferred)

Re: FAC from telco

Hi Sankar,

I am not sure, but you might be able to use overlap sending for specific routepatterns (CFA)

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_configuration_example09186a00800f2c70.shtml

Then the user can put the code into the cfa string

Re: FAC from telco

Sascha,

Doesnt the switch (telco) at the other end have to support Olap s/r ?

I thought olap s/r was not so popular in US..

Sankar.
