fast busy

when users try calling and call is routed via a VoIP net they get "fast busy" signal..

what could cause this?

You need to turn on debugs on the voice gateway to figure

this out, It could be any reason.

The obvious would be , No route to destination 0x3, No channel available

debug voip ccapi inout, debug vtsp all. This should explain

why the call is not getting through by looking at the disconnect cause code

and the revisit your configs for changes.

A fast busy means the switch is too busy to take the call. If it happens too frequently additional lines will have to be brough into the switch. This happens on the PSTN network side not on the IP side as the concept of "busy" does not really exist the call would either just be dropped or so many packets would be lost as to make the call unusable in a busy IP network.
