Fastethernet interface usually hangs on Cisco Router.

I have a problem with Cisco 1750 router which ussually has its fastethernet interface hanging after it works for a few days (1-2 days).

When the router hangs, I am able to telnet into the router using the serial port but unable to ping any device from the router to local area network and vicevesa using the fastethernet port and in the same state I am able to make calls using the Phone connect to FXS.

The state could only normalize if a reload or reset is performed on the router.

How can I go round this problem ?

Any troubleshooting ideas.

It could be an IOS bug or a hardware problem. I'd suggest havingTAC take a look at it.
