Is there any way to insure the corp directory is still available to the phones in the event of a Primary CM failure being that the phones only point to a single URL for the directory services?
For things of that nature, a DNS name can be used. That name would be an alias to multiple CallManagers. This requires having DNS defined for your phones. I have used this before with good success.
