Fax Over H323 To Unity 4.0 - exchange

The system's that involved in the problem that i have are :

1. C2600 Software (C2600-IS-M), Version 12.2(11)T6 as the Prime Voice gateway Configured as a H323 GW

2. CCM ver 3.3

3.Unity 4.0 + Cisco Unity IPfax

I've configured all of the necessary step's actually the CCM is not involved in the process,

The fax should transfer directly to the Inbox as a tiff file, meaning :

1. install the IPfax On the unity

2. Build & conf the IPFaxRecieved etc.

3. and then try to work around the H323 GW trough out the Cisco Doc. about

T37 T38 Fax Pass trough

probably I've forgot have a mistake some where, otherwise i wouldn't got so far

i would very much appreciate any help from someone who've been there already

Re: Fax Over H323 To Unity 4.0 - exchange

I am using the Third part fax tool from You recieve the fax on the router, call the appropriate on-ramp and off-ramp scripts. It is converted and sent to the ipfax client on unity. The fax is matched up to the DID number in the header and sent to exchange. Are you using DID? What are the debugs giving you?

Re: Fax Over H323 To Unity 4.0 - exchange

Hello Geoff

Thanks , I'm not working with DID , the IPFax software instruct me to install

in the following ways :

dial-peer voice 2 mmoip

 application fax_on_vfc_onramp_app out-bound

destination-pattern 9913061     <== the company's fax number; must match destination pattern of mmoip peer

 information-type fax

session target  <==the mailbox set up for inbound fax messages

the other option is indeed working with DID to a port, but in this option i

can't give a session target mailto: since it is a POTS Dial-peer

I'm steal stuck on the router(voice gateway) with out actually send it to the

mail box or Unity machine

thanks again for your reply

and I'm waiting for help :)
