FAX problem on MGCP

Hi, I’m having problems sending fax on a e1 mgcp configured, I tried sending the fax over an fxo and Works fine. The problem is that I get unstable fax.

I tried configuring fax relay t38 and fax pass-through and I get the same result.

The e1 and fxo are located on a MGCP gateway 3825 and the fax is connected via VG224 also configured in MGCP to an cm 4.1.3

Hi

At the beggining check if your E1 controller is free of errors.

Wojtek, I have some slip secs and error secs. In the guide above it says it's sensitive to that, so i will talk to the pstn provider for that.

Thanks! I tell you later.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

Make sure you have the network-clock-select command configured for the E1/T1 controller.

If you dont there will more than likely be slip errors when doing show controller
