I have a 1760 router running 12.2.15ZL that is terminating a PRI and I also have 4 port FXS card in it for fax machines. It's currently configured using h323. Everything has been working fine but we just found a specific number that never goes through when we try to fax to it. I can dial the number, it connects and I get a fax hand shake but it always fails. I've unplugged the fax machine from the FXS port and plugged it into a POTS line outside of the system and it goes through ok. The report on the fax machine says "TX FUNCTION WAS NOT COMPLETED".Any ideas on what is causing this to fail and how I can correct it? Thanks in advance for any help.
My first concern would be find out what type of fax machine you have at this specific number. I get the feeling that this may be Super G3 fax machine which is not supported just yet. Once you identify the fax machine, go ahead and disable ECM on Super G3. Most of the the time this would switch the Super G3 to normal G3.

the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
