Faxing solution for CME 4.0

We have 24 Faxes in our office building and the Fax connections terminate in the server room on a patch panel with RJ11 type connections. Can I use a FXS module on the CME 3845 Router with 24 ports. I would like to avoid installing 24 ATA's in the server room. What is the Part # for the FXS module. Is there a 48 port module?

Thanks

Re: Faxing solution for CME 4.0

sounds like a good solution could be the VG224.

this device will terminate 24 fax lines (SCCP) and you can configure this in your CME 4.0 environment.

(requires 12.4(4)XC IOS)

The NM-HDA network module is the highest density router module and can provide up to 12 FXS ports, so you would need 2, which would leave no room for expansion. The HDA has a RJ21 connector making it easy to terminate to a patch panel or punch block.

A VG-248 with 48 ports might be a better solution.
