Find & Select Subscriber - Unable to resolve failover partner?

Unity 4.0(3)

When using Find & Select Subscriber Locator Screen, selecting a table entry from the search return we get Microsoft Internet Explorer popup warning message "Unable to resolve failover partner name to FQDN"

Tried this on two seperate installs same result. Both are standalone VM boxes with no failover set up whatsoever. Can't see anything in bug tracker.

Any ideas?

cheers,

Chris

I filed a defect against this but it is marked as internally found which is why you can't see it. If you have a TAC case open please have the engineer link it to CSCec12836.

CSCec12836

Internally found moderate defect: Assigned (A)

When browsing by IP to the SA subscriber search links set to FDQN

Description: Added 030824 by kechambe

When browsing to the SA via an IP address (http://192.168.0.1/web/sa...) and

performing a subscriber search the links to the subscribers get set to FQDNs

(http://kechambe.cisco.com/web/sa/...). Additionally an error message stating

'Unable to resolve failover partner name to FQDN' is displayed.

In this situation expected behavior would be for the URL to continue to use the

IP address and not switch to the FQDN. I would only expect it to change if we

were choosing a user homed on a remote server. But even if that FQDN could

not be resolved some error more accurate than 'Unable to resolve failover

partner name to FQDN' would need to be displayed. Perhaps 'Unable to resolve

fully qualified domain name. Please ensure that name resolution is configured

correctly'.

I am also experiencing this issue when using the SAWeb utility with the FQDN (i.e. http://server.domain.com). This would indicate that the problem is not just limited to accessing the utility via IP Address. The problem goes away if instead I use just http://server as the address for accessing the SAWeb Utility. This appears to be new in 4.0(3) as this problem did not exist in 4.0(2).
