first digit in route pattern acting weird

Can't figure this one out. CCM 3.3(3). When dialing the first digit on a phone it will accept it even though the first digit is not defined. If I dial a 2nd digit it will then process it.

For example my extensions are in the 2000 range (including meet me, and park numbers)

my dial access code is an 8.

I can dial any digit on a phone and it will wait for another digit. Even * and #. I have double checked my partitions and CSS and still can't figure out why the first digit won't get immediatly processed.

Thanks in avance

Re: first digit in route pattern acting weird

Goto Route Plan -> Route Plan Report, you can do some searching for various patterns here. I suspect that the pattern starts with an x since it accepts any digit.

If you cant find it, it may be a phantom pattern. Was this happening before you upgraded to 3.3(3)?

nevermind - piece of advice, too many mechanics under the hood caused "wierd things"
