a customer has a CM cluster made of 1 publisher and 2 subscribers on a LAN. Half of the phones is registered on the first subscriber and the other half on the second.
Two days ago when people pushed the forward button on phones registered on the second subscriber pushed they received idle tone but the forward doesn't proceed (they inserted the number but the procedure didn't go on).
I thought a db problem, even if a new phone entry is correctly replicated to subscriber db.
You need to configure the hosts & lmhosts for each server in the cluster. Then do an "nbtstat -RR" on each server in the cluster. Once you have done this You will need to run the DBLHelper tool.
Copy the DBLHelper.exe into the C:\Program Files\Cisco\Bin\ , double click on the exe and press the republish button. This will rebuild the replicatin, it may take 30-40 min. You can check the replication status from replication monitor from SQL Enterprise MGR on the Pub.
Are you getting this error “Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported. The installer cannot run in this UI mode. To specify the interface mode, use the -i command-line option, followed by the UI mode identifier. The value UI mode identifiers...
The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.
