forward on failure on a CTI Route Point

I programmed a forward on failure on a CTI Route Point. This CTI Route Point is the number for the IPICD queue. I did some tests to see exactly when this prompt will be used by the Call Manager and I didn't find it. Can you explain to me in which situation the "forward on failure" will be used ?

Re: forward on failure on a CTI Route Point

In order to allow for a CTI port to correctly route calls when the IVR is not online you should set the CFNA, CFB, and Call Forward on Failure. I did some tests (and this was verified by Cisco) that it does not always take the Forward on Failure route. It will take one of those two routes if the CTI ports are not registered.

Re: forward on failure on a CTI Route Point

Thanks for your answer but it does not help me. I stopped the engine on the CRS, and I removed the ports in the ASSOCIATE DEVICE of the JTAPICRS user and the forward on failure didn't work. So I really need to know exactly when the forward no failure will be used.
