forwarded calls

CCM4.1(3), Unity4.0(1)

When calls to my IP Phone are forwarded to my cell number the Caller ID on my cell phone displays the incorrect calling number. For example:

UserA calls from 321-654-7890 to IP Phone 321-456-9870 (Phone has call forwarded to cell phone)

My cell phone caller ID displays incoming call from: 321-456-7890

Not sure if the CCM or dial-plans on the gateway are causing the prefix of the IP phone to be combined with the last 4-digits of the calling number.

Any one know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Re: forwarded calls

callingNumber Masks on lines, gateways and translationPatterns could be in play here. verify all callingNumber Masks are configured on the specific lines/gateways/Tpatterns that you would like.

you seem to have an '321456XXXX' callingNumber Mask set somewhere in your system.

check all gateways and translationPatterns first. it is a common practice to set the mask nearest the gateway used for the outbound call. (this of course could also be set on the line of the phone)
