Forwarding Delay

Unity 2.4.6.102, Call Manager 3.0.8<br>Is there a way to change the delay time from when you try to forward a message and Unity prompts you what to do with the existing message. The message is 27 secs. long. When we choose to forward the message, there is a delay of 8-10 secs. before Unity prompts us. Any ideas would be helpful. <br><br>

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about this for forwarding... We simply ask Exchange to forward the message and it goes about making a new message instance and copies the message itself. 8-10 seconds seems kinda long, but we're just hanging out waiting for Exchange to return to us that it's done.

With deleting messages we have some control since we can tell Exchange not to make a copy of the message in the deleted items folder based on a COS setting. When forwarding a message you don't have a heck of a lot of choice.

perhaps your priv.edb is fragmented and it's adding delay there... Can you do an off line defrag of the private store?
